I am writing this blog post to let everyone know what my experience was like dealing with Bloomex Canada.
I placed an order on February 1, 2017 for a bouquet of flowers. The bouquet and vase was to be delivered on February 13, 2017. The day came, and the flowers never arrived. I wrote to Bloomex to ask them, where the flowers were, and since they had not been delivered could I please have a refund. Bloomex wrote back to tell me, they do not deliver to my area on a Monday, (which they never told me when I ordered, they never even wrote and told me that February 13, 2017 was not a possiblity for delivery) and would not give me a refund.
On February 14, 2017 the flowers arrived via Purolator. They were supposed to look like the picture posted above. Needless to say, they did not. They were a dozen red roses, half were dying, the vase was wrong, and they never provided a greeting card. They sent a 15% off coupon, with the verse on the back of it. I guess that is Bloomex’s idea of greeting card.

These are the flowers that were received. I do not think they look the same, as what was promised and advertised on their site.

Bloomex’s idea of a greeting card!
I again wrote to this company and asked them for a refund. Telling them I was disappointed, the flowers were not what was advertised or promised. I asked them where the greeting card was, and why the vase had been changed. Bloomex never answered me on the greeting card, or vase. Again no refund coming. They offered to send another bouquet to me, and I told them no I wanted a refund. They sent the bouquet anyway.

Second bouquet. Not much better. Roses are dying, daisies wilting.
These flowers were guaranteed to be fresh flowers. They were also guaranteed to arrive on time. Neither of these promises were kept. I have now contacted the Better Business Bureau to see if they can help me get my refund back. Since Bloomex likes to take your money fast enough, but not give a refund when they fail to deliver what they promise.
So please, if you are considering using Bloomex, take my experience into consideration. I would not like to see any of our readers get burned like I did by this company.
If you have dealt with Bloomex before, please let us know in the comments what your experience with this company was like.
Ordered flowers for my mother’s funeral. What I ordered (1 ) was never sent, (2) what was sent was late. No explanation when I called as to why the delay and that they were sending a different arrangement. Horrible customer service. Managers don’t exist.
OMG We just had the same thing happen and no one helped us, I was hung up 3 times and their online agents are garbage… Who can we complain to or report them?
We had a good experience with Bloomex in Winnipeg. We did not order online which seems to be where they start having issues. We walked into the Winnipeg location which also had funeral items like urns and coffins that we were looking for after being quoted a ridiculously high price of $4000 to rent a coffin for viewing from funeral home. We ordered a beautiful arrangement for our MIL’s funeral which was ready on time from this Bloomer location.
It seems that there are lots of issues with their online orders. There are also a few websites and facebook pages dedicated to Bloomex complaints.
Flowers for Valentine’s day arrived 3 days late originally did not know where they were emailed ran out of flowers would send the next week, arrived dead had to throw out after 3 days of having them cheap tulips that were open when I bought them looked fresher then my bouquet will not issue refund due to policy on no refunds certain holidays corresponded with me till didn’t like my response then my husband not me issued credit hope they sleep better knowing I will never use the credit and that they sent shitty quality flowers got my money for free,
I am in the UK and ordered a cream and pale yellow sympathy bouquet with full size card to be sent to Australia. I was shocked that a smaller, much cheaper looking bunch of bright yellow flowers was sent, that in no way resembled the flowers I had ordered . The card I had paid them for was missing.
Bloomex told me that the correct order would be resent if I sent them a photo. I did so, but they ignored it.
When I contacted them again, they said that they had placed a credit note for me in their system. Repeated attempts to use it have failed, each time they told me that it was working for them! I do not believe that the ‘credit note’ actually exists, it is a con. They ignore me when I ask for a refund on my order. I understand the firm is based in Russia, not Australia.
They have scammed me.
My sister ordered a Christmas centre piece for me that was scheduled for Dec 24, 2017. It arrived December 29 in a box left on the door step; fortunately we found them before they froze. That is the good part of her story. She also ordered a centre piece for someone else to be delivered to Hamilton. The flowers arrived partially frozen. When she asked for a refund, they said it was her responsibility to know their policies, which apparently meant no refunds.
